Chicken Fingers In The Air Fryer With Raihana's Cuisines

Not only are these delicious but this is a no guilt chicken that your family will want to have every week, and the sauce is a great dipping sauce for just about anything!
2 lbs chicken tenders sliced thin
1 tbsp fresh ginger and garlic
1 tbsp chili garlic sauce (sambal)
salt to taste
1 tsp cajun seasoning
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp lemon pepper
2 tbsp paprika
For the breading:
5 oz bag of croutons (your choice) I used Italian (crushed)
1 tsp lemon pepper
1 tbsp dried parsley flakes (optional)
1 tbsp olive oil (optional only use if marinade is dry)
Sauce Ing:
1/3 cut english cucumber
1/2 cup yogurt
1/2 tsp roasted crushed cumin
salt to taste
you could add lemon juice in this to thin the sauce out and give it a zing.
Clean and slice the chicken and keep it aside. Crush the croutons and mix in the lemon pepper and parsley flakes keep this aside. Now for marinating our chicken add the ginger and garlic, sambal, salt and all the powdered spices. Make sure this is mixed completely by massaging the chicken and making sure you get all the dried spices hiding in the bottom of the bowl. Lastly determine if the mixture is too dry add the olive oil. I usually never marinate this chicken but you want to go ahead and marinate it then go ahead and do so. Dip the chicken in the crouton mixture and put it in a single file in the air fryer basket. Bake it for 9 min at 360 degrees F. After the first 9 minutes turn it and put it in for another 5 min and determine if the chicken is cooked through and crispy. Adjust the timing for the air fryer according to the air fryer instructions.
For the sauce, combine all the sauce ingredients and blend it give it a taste test and keep it aside. Once the chicken is cooked serve it with a side of cucumbers and the sauce.
These would be great in rotis or hot dog buns.
